QSAR Study on Binding Affinity of PATs (Rodenticides) to the [3H]-Mepyramine-Labelled H1 Receptor In Rat and Guinea Pig Brain

Abstract

The binding of a series of PAT analogues (rodenticides) to the [³H]-mepyramine-labelled H₁ receptor in rat and guinea pig brain was investigated topologically using negentropy (N), molecular redundancy (MRI), first-order molecular connectivity (¹X _v ), Wiener (W), and Szeged (Sz) indices. Multiple regression analyses showed that MRI provided excellent results upon introduction of indicator parameters. Predictive ability of the proposed models was discussed using cross-validation parameters.     

A Highly Accurate Refractive Index Sensor with Two Operation Modes Based on Photonic Crystal Ring Resonator

A 2D hole‐type hexagonal lattice photonic crystal is utilized, herein, to detect the refractive index change of the material infiltrated into the designed circular sensing area which also resembles a ring resonator. The accuracy of the detection process is enhanced considering the simultaneous shift of the resonance wavelengths and the intensity modulation which occur in two separate spectral regions. The presented structure has the ability to detect liquids, material concentrations in fluids and gases having refractive indices in the range of n = 1–2 with sensitivity and quality factor of 61 nm/RIU and 3000, respectively, for resonance‐wavelength‐shift‐based operation. The detection range of n = 1–1.4 with the sensitivity of S = 0.69 NI/RIU is achieved for the intensity‐based measurement and the results show good linearity in the operating range.     

高光谱图像识别霉变花生的光谱特征分析与指数模型构建

霉变花生极有可能含强致癌物质-黄曲霉素，快速识别并分离霉变花生可从源头上阻止其进入食物链，并降低人类摄入黄曲霉素的风险。利用可见光-近红外高光谱数据，通过光谱分析确定能有效识别霉变花生的光谱特征或指数模型。共获取霉变花生样本253个，健康花生247个，并取其霉变(或健康)部位的均值光谱。在对光谱进行连续统去除后，首先对其求取了不同步长的一阶微分，并在可分性较优的光谱区域计算了Area_500～650指数；其次，用连续小波变换提取了光谱的形状和位置信息，并利用Index_cwt指数识别霉变花生样本。结果显示，指数Area_500～650的J-M距离为1.95，Index_cwt模型的J-M距离为1.99，表明霉变和健康花生在构建的指数模型Area_500～650和Index_cwt的特征空间可分性均较优。

Peptide Property Modeling by Cluj Indices

Abstract

The novel Cluj property indices are used for modeling the biological properties of dipeptides: the ACE inhibition activity of a set of 58 dipeptides and the bitter tasting activity of a set of 48 dipeptides, taken from the literature. The results are compared to those reported in some previous works.     

Fresnel coefficients for a layer of NIM

Reflection and transmission of traveling and evanescent waves by a layer of material with a negative index of refraction (NIM) is studied by means of the Fresnel coefficients. We derive their values in the “NIM limit”, and we show that this limit is consistent with the exact solution. It is also indicated that simply substituting the negative values of the relative permittivity and permeability of the NIM material into the exact solution leads to incorrect results for evanescent waves.

给定2个图G1和G2，设G1的边集E(G1)={e1,e2,?,em1}，则图G1⊙G2可由一个G1，m1个G2通过在G1对应的每条边外加一个孤立点，新增加的点记为U={u1,u2,?,um1}，将ui分别与第i个G2的所有点以及G1中的边ei的端点相连得到，其中i=?1,2,?,m1。得到：（i）当G1是正则图，G2是正则图或完全二部图时，确定了G1⊙G2的邻接谱（A-谱）。（ii）当G1是正则图，G2是任意图时，给出了G1⊙G2的拉普拉斯谱（L-谱）。（iii）当G1和G2都是正则图时，给出了G1⊙G2的无符号拉普拉斯谱（Q-谱）。作为以上结论的应用，构建了无限多对A-同谱图、L-同谱图和Q-同谱图；同时当G1是正则图时，确定了G1⊙G2支撑树的数量和Kirchhoff指数。
